From an amorphous glop of orange-tinted goo, the Gods of science have birthed a batch of transparent discs. We are excited to announce that our debut 7” will be released by Misra Records on October 30, 2012. The ‘Orange’ side is ‘Fallout and Fire’, the ‘Banana’ side is ‘SEE’. The graphic depiction of cross-pollinating fruit was drawn by our weird friend Ali Calis at Able Projects.  To mark the occasion we will do a short tour leading up to the release (see dates below). In the meantime, you can listen to ‘Fallout and Fire’ on Pitchfork, where they were kind enough to debut it for us.  If you can’t make it out to any of the shows but still want to hear what we sound like ‘live’ ( or what we sounded like on a hot day in July) our Daytrotter Session has just been released.  Dates: Oct 25 at Shake It Records, Cincinnati, OH 7pm FREE  Oct 26 at the Firehouse, North Manchester, IN   Oct 27 at the Shitty Barn/Knitty Barn, Spring Green, WI ( Bring your knit or crochet project! )  Oct 28 at the Abbey Pub, Chicago,IL with the Avengers!  Oct 29 at Omega Music, Dayton,OH. 7pm FREE

We have made 100 copies of the DEVO song “Mr.DNA” that we covered with Kristian Svitak on limited, hand-cut, griptape-covered blocks of wood, each custom stenciled  by Dayton writer KELP! The discs contain an audio track of the song plus a video clip of the song re-edited by Adam Kure to Kristian’s original 88footwear skate part.  They’ll be available starting August 29 at Southpark Tavern in Dayton, OH (Kristian will be joining us for this string of shows!). The track will still be available digitally through Phratry Records.

Ring will play at noon followed by: Buffalo Killers, Me and Mountains, m Ross Perkins, Astro Fang, Rebel Set, Mitch Mitchell’s Terrifying Experience, Raging Nathans, Back Stabbath and Ruckus Roboticus. If you don’t manage to get one of these discs, you’ll have to wait until the release of the band’s debut 7” on Misra Records sometime in the near future!
